Are you a health and wellness expert who’s been thinking about writing a nonfiction book?

For many professionals, it’s the next logical step once you’ve built your business or practice.  A book can help to build awareness of what you do and reach a wider audience.

But how do you know when it’s time to act?

It’s usually a mix of how you feel inside and what’s happening in your business or practice and beyond.

Inside: You have a burning desire to share what you think, know and feel with readers and the world.

Outside: You have a body of knowledge from working with clients or patients that a method, plan or approach of yours is showing consistent, positive results. Or this work has sparked a new idea either connected to or beyond what you’re doing on a day to day basis.

Inside: You feel like a cup that’s filled to the brim with ideas that you want, no need, to get out of your head and onto paper.

Outside: Every day you see results that confirm your hunch that what you’re doing, or what you know, is worth sharing in a book.

Inside: You’re tired of sharing the same method, plan or approach that solves the same health and wellness problem with clients, patients, or on social media.

Outside: You wonder if it would be easier if your method or plan was spelled out in a book. If would free up time for you to focus on current clients and help new ones.

Inside: Your gut tells you that it’s the right time to devote your time and energy to putting your ideas, thoughts and feelings into a book.

Outside: Your gut feeling is confirmed when people say, “You should write a book!” Friends, clients, patients or followers see the value in your method, plan or approach to a common (or uncommon) health problem.

Inside: You really want to reach a wider audience beyond your business or practice.

Outside: You know from your research (and reading newsletters like this!) that writing a book can help to expand your influence beyond your business or practice to the wider world. A book opens doors: to the media, speaking gigs (you know you want to do a Ted Talk!) workshops, seminars, higher visibility and much more.

Inside: You’re convinced that it’s worth your time and energy to write a nonfiction book about what you do, think or feel. But you’re unsure of how to begin. Or you’ve started and are stuck in the middle and are having trouble completing your manuscript.

Outside: It isn’t you! Writing a book is a complicated process. That’s where expert support from an experienced editor and  book coach can help.
