This doesn't mean that you shouldn't have an opinion, you should! but it's also helpful to understand what you don't know to learn what you need to know. You can share what you know with a wider audience, establish yourself as a thought leader, make an impact and grow your brand. You Can Use Your Book: •To help readers transform their lives in a positive way. •To educate your clients or patients about your method, plan or program. Instead of giving each one handwritten instructions, you can give them a complete approach from A to Z. •To land interview requests about your subject matter whether it’s for print, radio, the internet, podcasts or TV. This further establishes you as an expert and builds your presence as a thought leader. •To supersize your content. You can use and repurpose book content for speeches, blog posts, articles, newsletters, in person and on-line courses. • To help you land speaking gigs. Defining who you are, what you do and what you believe in through your book makes it easier for people to find and book you. •To give in-person workshops in your hometown, at universities, associations, green companies, organizations. Bonus you can sell your book to participants too. •To book consulting gigs with people or organizations who want to know what you know and learn what you have to teach them. Maybe you can teach Buddhist stress reduction techniques or mindfulness meditation to accountants or lawyers or business people. •And of course, The Big Kahuna: To get booked for a Ted Talk and boost your visibility, way, way up!

In the charming Natural Remedies cozy series “with a terrific premise” (Library Journal), naturopathic doctor Willow McQuade must solve the murder of her beloved aunt after she’s found dead in her natural health store with her family’s valuable skin cream formula stolen.
Dr. Willow McQuade, ND, a twenty-eight-year-old doctor specializing in natural remedies, has decided to take sabbatical and visit her Aunt Claire, the owner of Nature’s Way Market and Cafe in idyllic Greenport, Long Island. The idea of rest and relaxation is quickly forgotten when Willow arrives from a morning meditative walk to discover her Aunt Claire dead in the store, a strange almond-like smell emanating from her mouth and a bottle of flower essences by her side.
Despite her Zen nature and penchant for yoga, Aunt Claire had a knack for getting into confrontations with folks. An activist, she held weekly meetings for different causes every week in the store. The police want to believe the death is accidental—but Willow thinks she may have been poisoned.
Things get worse when Aunt Claire’s valuable recipe for a new natural age-defying formula, Fresh Face, is stolen during a store break-in, and an attempt is made on Willow’s life. Desperate for a way out of the mess, she turns to a handsome young cop Jackson Spade. Will they be able to solve the case…the natural way?

Scent to Kill
"In Fiedler’s well-crafted second mystery, set on Long Island’s North Fork (after 2012’s Death Drops), a film crew plans to shoot a segment for a TV show about psychics at producer Roger Bixby’s Southport mansion, reputed to be haunted by a 1933 murder victim.
When Bixby drowns one night, a victim of foul play, naturopathic doctor Willow McQuade, the owner of Nature’s Way Market and Café in nearby Greenport, rushes to the defense of the chief suspect—her former boyfriend, Simon Lewis, who quarreled with Bixby earlier in the day.
Two almost identical murders decades apart spur Willow to unravel the complex relationships between Bixby and his film crew, as well as between his forebears and the townspeople, to discover who might have wished the producer dead.
Devotees of natural medicine and aromatherapy will enjoy the tips that appear at the beginning of each chapter and scattered throughout the text." - Publisher's Weekly
In the second novel in the “engaging” (Gayle Trent, author of Killer Sweet Tooth) Natural Remedies cozy series, holistic doctor Willow McQuade must solve the murder of a producer of a new psychic television show.
When naturopathic doctor and shop owner Willow McQuade’s ex-boyfriend Simon Lewis invites her to a party for the cast and crew of a new television show at Long Island’s scenic Bixby Estate, she’s most excited to visit the property’s exclusive lavender farm. But a whole field of her favorite stress-reducing herb can’t provide enough soothing support to calm the effects of a murder!
Even the show’s psychic star didn’t predict the demise of Roger Bixby, the estate’s owner and estranged husband of Simon’s new girlfriend. Now Simon, who’s been collared by police, needs Willow’s help to remedy the situation. As Willow snoops about the mansion, offering natural cures to ease the mounting tension, a strange energy—and the discovery of an eerily similar unsolved murder decades earlier—makes her wonder whether the alternative source of the crime might actually be . . . supernatural. Can she find harmony between mind, body, and possibly even spirits before somebody else goes up in smoke?

Garden of Death
"A garden of delights for mystery readers--with plenty of brain teasing clues, clever plot twists, a picturesque village setting, and a charming amateur sleuth."
– Anne Canadeo, author of A Murder in Mohair, A Black Sheep Knitting Mystery
"A natural winner! This smart who-dunnit is the perfect remedy for anyone in need of a great read."
– Liz Mugavero, author of the Agatha-nominated Pawsitively Organic Mysteries
"Buried secrets, medicinal plants and murder, and of course, dogs and cats, make this a thoroughly enjoyable mystery!"
– Linda O. Johnston, author of the Pet Rescue Mysteries
When a local doctor is found dead in Willow McQuade’s medicinal garden, she must find the killer to clear her boyfriend’s name in this third clever book in the Natural Remedies Mystery series.
Dr. Willow McQuade, owner of Nature’s Way Market & Café, has put the finishing touches on a new medicinal plant garden for Greenport’s annual Maritime Festival and is ready for the festivities to begin. But it’s not all flowers and sunshine at the grand opening, when Willow discovers the body of another contestant, Dr. Charles White, face down in her garden.
Willow’s hunky boyfriend, Jackson Spade, immediately becomes a suspect due to a recent fight with Dr. White. Willow knows she has to remedy the situation, but it won’t be easy with the other applicants’ vendettas and vandals wrecking her garden at every turn. And when she finds buried treasure in her garden that just might belong to the legendary Captain Kidd, the stakes become even higher. Was Dr. White searching for that treasure? Did someone kill him to get to it first? With the help of Jackson and her eccentric ex-boyfriend, Willow follows the clues to uncover the truth that someone wants buried…But can she dig up enough evidence before she becomes the killer’s next victim?

Dandelion Dead
Naturopathic doctor Willow McQuade loves utilizing edible plants in the recipes served by her business, Nature's Way Market & Café. Unfortunately, someone has used one of her appetizers as a tool for murder.
Now Willow and her boyfriend, Jackson Spade, find themselves in the midst of wine politics. Their friend, Simon, has heavily invested in a local organic winery that is at the center of the murder. Simon once again recruits Willow and Jackson to help him solve the mystery, particularly as it appears the murderer had a different target.
Can the Three Musketeers uncover the murderer and salvage Simon's business dealings?
DANDELION DEAD is the fourth book in the Natural Remedies Mystery Natural Remedies Mystery series. The mystery itself stands on its own merits but the relationships of the characters have been growing and evolving over the course of the series.
In particular, the relationship between Willow, Jackson, and Simon will make far more sense to readers who have followed along with the series. Besides, A Natural Remedies Mystery series is a lot of fun and I can't imagine not wanting to read all of Chrystle Fiedler's books!
I love Willow, Jackson, and Simon! I want to browse the shelves of Nature's Way Market & Café, grabbing a bite to eat of one of their tasty but healthy snacks. One of my favorite parts of any Chrystle Fiedler book are the intriguing tidbits of information we get about natural remedies.
DANDELION DEAD has less of this incorporated into the storyline than in prior books, but a helpful resource section is provided at the conclusion of the novel.
I'm hopeful that DANDELION DEAD isn't the last we'll see of Willow, Jackson, and Simon as I look forward to what trouble they can find next!" - Fresh Fiction
In a cozy mystery filled with natural cures and edible plants that you will love, an organic winery becomes the backdrop for murder! Fortunately, solving crimes comes naturally to charmingly unconventional amateur sleuth and holistic doctor, Willow McQuade, as she looks for clues that will reveal a killer’s true vintage.
Business is blooming at Nature’s Way Market & Café, and shop owner, holistic doctor, and amateur sleuth, Willow McQuade has never been happier. Her new medicinal herb garden is a hit, so is her new book, she’s in love with ex-cop and animal rescuer Jackson Spade, and enjoying teaching seminars about edible plants and natural remedies.
But everything changes when Willow’s old boyfriend and TV producer, Simon Lewis, winemaker David Farmer, and his wife Ivy, ask her to cater a party at Pure, their new organic vineyard, to kick off North Fork’s Uncorked! week and the competition for Wine Lovers magazine’s $200,000 prize. Pure’s entry, Falling Leaves, is the favorite to win, and the wine flows freely until after Simon’s toast when smiles give way to looks of horror. Ivy’s twin sister, Amy has been murdered! Turns out, the poison that killed her was actually meant for David. But who wants him dead? A rival vintner? Or someone closer to home? This time the truth may be a bitter vintage to swallow.
