From Fear to Confidence: How I Became an Author, Editor & Book Coach
Most of the time when I get on Zoom call with a writer, I see stress, fear and overwhelm. Natural health experts want to write a book but just don’t know how. When I got my first book contract in 2009, I didn’t know how either! I was a journalist and content creator so surely that would help, right? It did, to some degree. The rest was trial and error. And not much fun.
Today, I’ve written 12 books and edited and coached many others for Big Five publishers—including Simon & Schuster and Penguin Random House—as well as The Quarto Publishing Group USA, UK, HCI Books and The Collective Book Studio. As an Author Accelerator certified nonfiction book coach, my superpower is helping author-experts to develop, structure, write, and revise natural health self-help to produce reader-friendly and market-ready books that transform lives.
